Hello, my name is Jennifer Vasquez and I am the Director of the Hillsboro center. I've served the Hillsboro community through Kids Inc since 2016. I've been in childcare and early child development since 2013. I was born in Hillsboro but lived in Georgia for a long time, so it is incredible to get to raise my own two kids in the city that I was born in. I'm definitely an Autumn girl; I love the weather, getting a coffee at Dutch Bros, and enjoying nice walks in the chilly air. In the same way, I find it awe inspiring to watch little minds and bodies grow up. Seeing children grow, change and become more and more of who they are going to be reminds me of the changing of the Autumn leaves. Getting to play a role in that process is a priceless treasure.

I’ve worked for Kids Incorporated since I was a 15-year-old high school student in need of an after-school job. In 2012, I started as an Aide 1, and as of 2021, I supervise all three of our locations. I oversee every detail of staffing, training and any other activities that support the smooth operation of each center. I am married and have 4 beautiful, incredible kids with one more on the way. I have always wanted a big family because I love kids and have a passion for helping the next generation grow. My “hobbies” are volunteering in child education, reading books, and traveling.
